  • A resident of Indian Harbour Beach is someone who either owns residential property or rents/leases (minimum of a six-month timeframe) a residence within city limits. This includes single-family homes, condominiums, apartments, or lots within mobile home or recreational vehicle parks

  • Yes, residents who lease a lot in a community park for a mobile home, modular unit, or recreational vehicle qualify for the resident no-cost parking permit, provided they have a lease agreement with a minimum duration of six months.

  • Beach parking in both Indian Harbour Beach lots (Bicentennial Beach & Millenium Beach) require nonresidents to pay a fee. Residents can apply for the brand new virtual (non-sticker) parking permits at no cost by visiting Parkihb.org and clicking on the parking passes section. Please be prepared to upload proof of residency and your vehicle registration.

  • Residents with state-registered handicapped license plates, including Disabled Veteran plates, handicapped placards, or temporary handicapped placards are not required to obtain a permit or process payment. Always ensure that your placard is properly placed hanging in the rearview mirror to avoid enforcement.

  • As of March 31st, 2025, an hourly rate of $3.00 or full day rate of $15.00(plus sales tax & any credit card fees) for all nonresident vehicles was implemented.

  • Yes! Park IHB resident beach parking permits must be renewed annually. Online applications make the process quick and easy, provided you have the right documentation. All resident passes operate on a calendar year basis and will expire on December 31st.

  • Bicentennial Beach Park and Millenium Beach Park are part of Indian Harbour Beach.

  • Indian Harbour Beach residents may register as many vehicles as they wish, provided the vehicles are registered in their name.

  • Whether you’re applying online, in the app or in person, applicants will need to upload a valid Driver's License, registration for each vehicle, and if a resident, proof of Indian Harbour Beach residency or property ownership.

  • To receive emails about your application status, make sure to verify your email address when creating an account. Individuals who register with Parklync will receive updates about their application status through the email address provided during registration. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email. Since the Parklync program uses license plates to verify registration, participants will not receive a sticker, placard, or physical item by mail, nor will they need to pick up anything in person.

  • There is no deadline to register for an IHB Resident parking pass, and registrations will continue throughout the year. However, residents should ensure their vehicle’s registration is confirmed with the program before parking in County-owned and operated off-beach lots or driving on the beach.
